The Sacrament of Baptism
Baptisms are usually celebrated on Saturdays at either 11am or 1pm in the Church. Below you will find the form to register your child to be baptized. Once filled out, please send to our Parish Administrative Assistant, Julie Hines, who can be reached at [email protected]. You are welcome to use our Parish Hall before or after your Baptism. When to contact us? We encourage you to contact us soon after your child's birth.
Requirements to be a Sponsor/Godparent?
- Designated by the parents, guardian, or pastor to perform this role.
- At least sixteen years old.
- Be a fully initiated Catholic (received Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist).
- Lead a life in harmony with the faith and role of sponsor.
- Cannot be the father or the mother of the one to be baptized.
Can my child get Baptized during Sunday Mass? We encourage infant baptisms to be celebrated within parish Masses, so that others in the community can enjoy an occasional baptism celebration, and pray with you. If you are interested in having your child baptized during one of our Sunday Masses, please contact our administrative assistant: [email protected].Does it cost to have a Baptism? No, sacraments are free gifts of the Church. If however you would like to make a donation to the parish, please drop it off at our parish office.
